Research & Education
Children’s Orthopaedics of Atlanta (COA) is continually investing in the future of pediatric orthopaedics by valuing education and research. Our team is frequently published throughout the web.
- Each year two pediatric orthopaedic fellows are trained at the practice. These fellowships are the only ACGME certified, pediatric orthopaedic fellowships in the region.
- The team provides resident education in pediatric orthopaedics for Atlanta Medical Center, Duke University, Eisenhower Army Medical Center and Pinnacle Healthcare in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
- Every fall, COA also hosts a pediatric orthopaedic educational conference that attracts physicians from all around the country to Atlanta.
- In addition to the teaching, COA has a history of research and innovation. The physicians make annual contributions in pediatric orthopaedics through textbooks, presentations and writing medical journal articles.
