The clinical providers at COA are proud to have an extensive support network to provide quality care to your children. Below are some of the key clinical managers that you may see at your visit to COA.

Mark first joined COA in 1990 as our business manager. He served this important role for our practice for seven years. In 1997, he left to pursue other medical management opportunities. In 2011, there was an opportunity for him to return. The practice was much larger by the time he returned, and Mark's skills earned him the title of Chief Operations Officer. With a heavy finance background, he also serves the important role as our Chief Financial Officer as well. "I enjoy working at Children's Orthopaedics of Atlanta because of the physicians and the staff. Everyone is so talented and committed to helping children and their families. At COA, the patients really do come first. It is rewarding knowing that I play a small role in assisting those who provide such world class care to so many patients and their familes"
In his spare time, you are likely to find Mark on a golf course. We are truly blessed to have a leader with the rare collective attributes of integrity, intelligence, and work ethic.
Clinical Coordinator - Meridian Mark Location
Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Clinical Manager
Linette has been with COA since July of 2000. When she first started at COA, there were six physicians, 1 PA, and 2 locations. She has been proud of the growth that she has witnessed at COA. Linette commutes over an hour every day to come work with the practice. "When I talk about my job and who I work for the first thing I always say is - my doctors knew that when they made the choice to practice this particular type of medicine, they do so because they love it. So who cares how long the drive is, thank goodness for Sync and drive thru's! Who wouldn't want to work for people who truly love helping others?."
As the practice has grown, so has Linette's responsibilities. She overseas COA's main office at Meridian Mark where 5-6 providers can be seeing patients on a daily basis. More recently, with the advent of electronic medical records (EMR), she has been charged with the important task of ensuring that COA's EMR is up and running at all times.
Linette is an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan and is proud to show her support when COA has their football celebration days in the office.
Clinical Coordinator - Cobb and Villa Rica Locations
Lorene, or as we call "Lo" joined COA in 2007. She was hired to join the call center to help schedule appointments for patients. After several years, she was recognized for her talents and leadership skills and was promoted to supervisor of the call center. Soon thereafter, once COA opened a Marietta location, Lorene was transferred to the front desk to greet and help patients and helped to ensure things were running smoothly at one of our busiest locations.
In 2012, Lorene was promoted the official title of Clinical Coordinator for the Marietta location, and she now manages the logistics of the Villa Rica location as well. "Working at COA has been very rewarding. I enjoy the kids and my work family. I'm always learning something new and have met a lot of wonderful people over the years!"
Lo is the proud mother of two boys and she enjoys spending time with her three grandchildren. When she is not working, you may see her on the road riding a Harley Davidson with her husband.
Clinical Site Coordinator - Stockbridge and Fayetteville Locations
Dee began her career at COA in 2007 as a scheduler in the call center. She remained in the call center for 9 years, with a large potion of her time spent as the manager of the call center. In January of 2016, with the growth of the Stockbridge and Fayette offices, Dee was awarded the clinical coordinator position for these two busy locations.
"One major reason why I have stayed with COA, even when commuting through Atlanta traffic, is that I feel that we have compassionate providers who on many occasions have demonstrated that the children matter more than anything else. I enjoy being a small part of that group who enjoy seeing our patients and offering them the BEST CARE they can possibly have!"
Clinical Coordinator - Alpharetta and Forsyth County Locations
Gail started her tenure at COA in 2007 as an "as needed" radiologic technologist. In 2009, she was hired full time and has worked in xray at the Meridian Mark, Forsyth, and Alpharetta offices. She now oversees the Alpharetta and Forsyth County locations to ensure that operations run smoothly in those offices. " The reason I started working at COA and have continued to work here is my love for kids and for working with people that I consider family."
Clinical Site Coordinator - Athens, Gwinnet, Buford, and Dacula Locations
Robert started his tenure at COA in 1990 as a radiologic technologist. He was recognized for his leadership and x-ray skills and became the radiography lead by 1998. Robert did leave our practice to pursue different career aspirations (which he admittedly regrets), but he was offered an opportunity to return in 2007, and he eagerly accepted. He has been with us since then. When Robert was hired back, he had roles as both a radiologic technologist as well as an orthopaedic technologist (casting). In 2012, he was offered a management position at our Gwinett county offices. His role as clinic coordinator has now expanded east to our Athens location as well. "Working for our group of doctors and PA's has truly been a blessing for me and my family. It's not a job if you love what you do and I am surrounded by a team of people that all feel the same way. Also, I am proud of our groups' long history of committment to the community and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. I am so happy to be part of this team each and every day."
