Should your child need surgery, COA physicians will operate at one of three pediatric locations.

All three surgical locations are staffed with skilled pediatric anesthesiologists, pediatric nurses, and surgical technicians. The pre-operative areas, operating rooms and recovery rooms are all geared toward the care of children. After all, children are not just small adults and nowhere else is that fact more apparent than when a child is having surgery.
Many procedures are performed on an outpatient basis, meaning your child could possibly go home the very same day as the surgery. The patient's health, the type of procedure and the expected recovery will all help determine whether the surgery will take place at the hospital or the outpatient surgical center.
